Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Sr Manager, People Systems & Workforce Insights – Remote. This role sets the multi‑year technology direction for the People & Community division, aligning HR tech with enterprise strategy and responsible AI practices.

You will lead Workday governance, data security, reporting, and analytics, build and mentor the HR systems team, and partner with HR, IT, finance, and vendors to deliver measurable value while protecting employee trust.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday HRIS experience including configuration, security, testing, and support.
• Experience with HR data governance, reporting, dashboards, audits, and data quality.
• Experience leading HR system implementations, upgrades, releases, and optimization.
• Experience handling sensitive employee data, access controls, audit support, and compliance.
• Cross-functional partnership with HR, payroll, IT, finance, security, compliance, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year technology strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for People Systems, aligning with enterprise goals.
• Govern HR system configuration, security, data, reporting, releases, and vendor performance; influence enterprise standards.
• Oversee budgeting, contracts, renewals, and implementation partners with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Legal.
• Represent People & Community in enterprise technology, data, AI, security, and operating-model forums; protect employee trust.
• Lead HR systems & analytics team; develop capability, succession, and equitable development opportunities.
• Own technology intake and prioritization; balance value, risk, and enterprise standards.
• Serve as process owner for internal controls and ensure audit evidence is timely and accurate.
• Safeguard sensitive employee data and oversee AI-assisted decisions affecting employees.
• Improve platform reliability, service delivery, documentation, adoption, and self-service.
• Shape workforce measures and decision frameworks; oversee executive reporting and translate findings for leadership.
• Advance self-service analytics and data literacy; oversee employee listening technology and reporting.
• Evaluate advanced analytics with validation, transparency, and human review.
• Strategic leadership of an integrated HR tech ecosystem; experience with Workday, analytics, and listening tools.
