Job summary

CBRE in the United States is seeking a People Business Partner to help roll out and communicate HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. This role sits in the People Strategy and Operations function, designing, executing, and monitoring HR programs across the business.

You will develop onboarding, career ladders, and performance management processes; provide employee relations guidance; and work with managers on risk discovery and investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of HR-related experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HR systems like PeopleSoft/SmartSheet.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management.
• Provide employee relations guidance and assist with disciplinary actions and coaching.
• Partner with managers to identify risks and initiate investigations.
• Oversee HR functions for a business unit, including compensation and labor relations.
• Deliver trainings on performance, diversity, and related topics.
