Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a People Business Partner to support the rollout and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.

The role is part of the People Strategy and Operations function, responsible for designing, executing, and monitoring HR programs. The position involves developing onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, performance management, and providing employee relations guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PeopleSoft/SmartSheet.

Responsibilities

• Assist with roll-out and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Develop onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance and conflict resolution support.
• Identify employment-related risks with managers and assist investigations.
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, and compensation for a unit.
• Conduct training on performance management, diversity, and more.
• Apply standard principles to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach colleagues and share knowledge across HR disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values while building consensus.
• Impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within teams.
