Job summary

Metropolis Technologies in New York is seeking a Manager, People Solutions to oversee the execution and optimization of our Central People Operations function. Reporting to the Director, People Operations, you will guide a team of People Solutions Coordinators, drive automation, and partner with Payroll, HR, Legal, and Field Leadership to support rapid growth.

You will lead operations projects, ensure data integrity, and provide insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, or Shared Services and supervising a team.
• Proven ability to evaluate operational workflows and implement process improvements.
• Experience partnering with Payroll, HR, Legal, Benefits, and Field leadership on complex transactions.
• Strong analytical skills and track record of leading medium-to-large projects end-to-end.
• Ability to own outcomes, set clear expectations, and deliver commitments.

Responsibilities

• Establish, refine, and maintain SOPs and daily delivery schedules for high-quality service execution.
• Oversee HRIS data accuracy for all employee lifecycle changes and audit framework.
• Lead automation and AI initiatives, including LLM-assisted intake and automated triage routing.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex employee transactional issues and drive resolution.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Legal, Risk, and Field Leadership to align priorities and handoffs.
• Analyze field-level error patterns and drive corrective actions to improve data quality at the source.
• Provide regular performance reporting and actionable operational insights to the Director, People Operations.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of People Solutions Coordinators and manage SLA performance.
• Foster an inclusive environment and implement feedback systems to elevate team performance.
• Lead medium-to-large scale operational projects end-to-end and establish cross-training coverage.
