Job summary

Metropolis is seeking a Manager, People Solutions to oversee the operational bridge between frontline processing and leadership within Central People Operations. You will mentor coordinators, translate data into strategic insights, and partner with Payroll, HR, Legal, Risk, and Field Leadership to sustain rapid growth.

The role requires 5+ years in People/HR Operations with HRIS expertise and a track record in process improvements, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in People/HR Operations or Shared Services with prior supervision.
• Hands-on expertise with enterprise HRIS platforms (Workday, UKG, ADP).
• Proven track record improving workflows and driving automation/AI initiatives.
• Experience partnering with Payroll, HR, Legal, Benefits, and Field Leadership on complex transactions.
• Strong analytical skills and history leading medium-to-large projects end-to-end.
• Ability to own results, set expectations, and deliver reliably.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across functions.
• Creative problem-solving and driving continuous innovation.

Responsibilities

• Establish, refine, and maintain SOPs and daily delivery schedules.
• Oversee HRIS data accuracy across employee lifecycle changes.
• Lead automation and AI initiatives to speed turnaround and efficiency.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex employee transactions.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Legal, Risk, and Field Leadership.
• Analyze field error patterns and drive corrective actions with Leadership.
• Provide regular performance reporting and actionable insights to the Director.
• Manage and develop a team of People Solutions Coordinators; monitor SLA.
• Foster transparent communication and feedback systems to improve performance.
• Lead end-to-end operational projects and establish cross-training coverage.
