Job summary

Team Select Home Care is seeking a People Services Specialist to manage onboarding, HRIS records, and employee documentation. You will support background checks, coordinate performance reviews, and ensure confidentiality across patient and employee data.

The role reports to the Director of Operations and requires collaboration with multiple teams to keep HR processes compliant and efficient.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of basic HR, HIPAA and regulatory requirements of the company.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.
• Ability to work with multiple teams in the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills; MS Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of HR best practices (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs HRIS, employee relations, training, benefits, compensation, and employment tasks as assigned.
• Assists in implementing HR programs and procedures for all employees.
• Facilitates new hire onboarding and orientation.
• Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports.
• Supports background checks and credential verifications.
• Coordinates performance reviews for all employees.
• Manages equipment needs and documentation orientation transitions.
• Monitors renewal requirements and notifies stakeholders before expiry.
• Prepares employment records for hires, terminations, leaves, transfers or promotions.
