Job summary

Team Select Home Care in Olympia, WA seeks a People Services Specialist to manage onboarding, maintain employee records, and support HRIS activities. You will assist with background checks, credential verifications, and orientation programs while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and company policy.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will coordinate benefits, payroll tasks, and routine HR reporting, while collaborating with multiple teams to support a smooth employee

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 1–2 years of related HR experience.
• Experience with HRIS, onboarding, and records management preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory requirements relevant to HR.

Responsibilities

• Performs HRIS, employee relations, training, benefits, and payroll tasks as assigned.
• Facilitates new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
• Maintains and audits employee records for compliance.
• Conducts background checks and credential verifications as needed.
• Coordinates performance reviews and HR reporting.
