Evlo AI is seeking a People Operations professional to own HRIS systems, onboarding/offboarding processes, benefits management, and compliance in a fast-growing environment. This hands-on role partners with Finance and Legal to scale headcount and payroll while maintaining data integrity.

The team is small but high-impact, focusing on building scalable processes and tooling (Rippling/Workday/Greenhouse). A strong systems thinker will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in People Operations or HR roles at a high-growth tech company.
• Hands-on HRIS administration experience (Workday, Rippling, Gusto, BambooHR).
• Working knowledge of multi-state US employment compliance, payroll, and benefits.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer the HRIS with data integrity, workflows, and reporting across headcount, compensation, and org data.
• Own onboarding and offboarding: provisioning, benefits enrollment, compliance paperwork, orientation.
• Run payroll inputs and audits with Finance for multi-state compliance.
• Manage benefits programs, leave administration, 401(k)/equity coordination.
• Maintain employment law compliance including I-9s, EEO reporting, postings.
• Build operational reporting on headcount, attrition, and people metrics for leadership.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee questions on policies, benefits, and payroll.
