Evlo AI in Miami is seeking an HR Generalist to own day-to-day people operations, onboarding, benefits admin, compliance, and HR systems. You’ll be the trusted contact for employees and managers, translating priorities into scalable HR processes.

You will help manage multi-state policies, investigations, and a growing handbook while supporting performance reviews, compensation, and promotions across platforms like Workday. Join a fast-growing tech team.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of HR generalist or people operations experience.
• Knowledge of multi-state employment law (FL required; CA/NY a plus).
• Experience with HRIS (Workday/BambooHR/Rippling) and reporting.
• Experience conducting employee relations investigations with documentation.
• Excellent written communication and policy drafting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in HR/Business or related field; SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.
• Bonus: equity compensation, DEI program design experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding: background checks, I-9/E-Verify, equipment handoffs, orientation.
• Administer benefits: open enrollment, carrier changes, leave management, 401(k) support.
• Manage HRIS data integrity and workflows; build headcount, attrition, and productivity reports.
• Serve as first contact for employee relations; investigations and documented outcomes.
• Maintain handbook, policies, and compliance postings across states.
• Support performance reviews, compensation planning, and promotions in Workday or similar.
• Drive engagement programs: pulse surveys, recognition, and manager enablement sessions.
