Evlo AI in Seattle is seeking a hands-on People Operations professional to own HRIS administration, onboarding, and benefits coordination. You will safeguard data integrity, configure workflows, and produce analytics that support scale.

Ideal candidates bring 3–6 years in high-growth tech, strong HRIS skills (Workday, Rippling, BambooHR), and solid multi-state compliance knowledge. A Bachelor’s in HR or related field is preferred, with bonus exposure to equity administration.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of People Operations or HR operations experience, ideally in high-growth tech.
• Hands-on HRIS expertise (Workday, Rippling, BambooHR, or similar), including configuration and reporting.
• Working knowledge of multi-state employment compliance (FMLA, ACA, I-9/E-Verify).
• Strong data skills - comfortable building reports in Google Sheets, Excel, or BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own HRIS administration and data integrity, including role provisioning, workflow configuration, and reporting.
• Run end-to-end onboarding and offboarding: background checks, I-9 verification, equipment and system access coordination.
• Administer benefits programs, 401(k), and leave of absence processes in partnership with brokers and vendors.
• Drive compliance across multi-state employment: EEO reporting, ACA, wage and hour, and required postings.
• Build and improve People ops processes, documenting policies and eliminating manual work through automation.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee questions on payroll, benefits, and policy.
• Produce people analytics - headcount, attrition, and DEI reporting - for leadership and board reviews.

About The Role

The role owns the systems and processes that keep a fast-growing workforce running: onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, compliance, and the employee data backbone behind every people program.

This is a builder role on a lean People team - you'll translate ambiguous operational needs into scalable workflows, own tooling like Workday or Rippling, and ensure HR operations run accurately at scale.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
