Job summary

CrewAI, Inc. seeks an HR Operations Manager to own the systems, processes, and policies enabling hiring, payroll, benefits, and growth across a global workforce. You’ll transform ambiguity into scalable HR infrastructure and ensure day-one excellence and compliant offboarding.

You’ll collaborate with leadership, finance, and legal to build a trusted HRIS, onboarding flows, and robust payroll processes while driving proactive people analytics for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR operations experience, including building scalable processes.
• Experience owning an HRIS (Rippling, Gusto, BambooHR, Workday) and payroll/benefits administration.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment law and multi-state compliance.
• Bias toward scalable systems and data-driven decision making.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end HR operations across a distributed global workforce.
• Design onboarding and offboarding programs for a great first day and compliant exits.
• Build and maintain HR policies and leave-of-absence processes.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws as the company scales.
• Partner with Finance on payroll accuracy, benefits invoicing, and headcount reporting.
• Turn people data into signal with reporting and metrics used by leadership.
• Identify and fix manual, error-prone HR processes through better tooling or automation.
