Flex is hiring a People Operations Manager to build and run the core people processes that support rapid growth. You’ll own onboarding, offboarding, performance cycles, compliance, and documentation, partnering with leadership to create scalable workflows.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in people operations or related roles in high-growth startups.
• Strong experience building and running performance review processes.
• Hands-on systems thinker who builds from scratch and improves workflows.
• Ability to bring structure to fast-moving environments without overcomplicating processes.
• Solid understanding of employee lifecycle operations, compliance, and documentation.
• Highly organized with strong operational judgment and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve core people operations processes across the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding.
• Track and report key people metrics such as reviews, headcount, onboarding progress.
• Design, launch, and refine performance review cycles and calibration processes.
• Administer and improve HRIS, payroll, benefits, and employee records.
• Ensure processes are compliant, well-documented, and scalable across states and growth.
• Coordinate employment documentation and policy administration with legal partners.
• Support compensation and promotion cycle logistics.
• Partner with managers on employee relations and organizational changes.
• Identify gaps and implement simple systems to improve execution.
