Job summary

Mixpanel is seeking a People Operations Manager to own the HR technology stack and transform processes across the employee lifecycle. You will partner with Payroll, IT, Legal, and vendors to scale operations, implement clear configurations, and document workflows.

In the first year, you will build a more reliable toolset, formalize processes, and establish trust in our HR systems while driving scalable, compliant operations for a global workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience owning People Operations programs in a high-growth tech environment.
• Functional ownership or admin of HR platforms (HRIS/ATS/LMS) with cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to define a People technology roadmap and justify tool investments.
• Experience redesigning processes across the employee lifecycle to reduce manual work.
• Influence cross-functional partners on new workflows without direct authority.
• Structured project management with clear plans, dependencies, and risk communication.
• Data governance experience in HR systems, including audits and action plans.
• Experience with compliance programs (I-9/E-Verify, data privacy).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HR operations programs with clear scope, milestones, and success metrics.
• Own core HR tech platforms: configure, upgrade, and evaluate features.
• Oversee platform deployments and vendor coordination for scale.
• Build and maintain a People tech roadmap aligned with business needs.
• Apply AI to improve People Operations workflows and tooling.
• Establish data governance standards and audit readiness across HR systems.
• Design a tiered HR support model with defined SLAs and escalation paths.
• Map current and future-state workflows across People, Payroll, Finance, IT.
• Maintain SOPs and documentation accessible across the team.
• Ensure end-to-end compliance for high-risk programs and ongoing privacy rules.
