Job summary

Baseten is seeking a Senior Manager, People Operations to scale the operational backbone of our People function. You will modernize, streamline, and future-proof our People infrastructure, owning HRIS, data governance, and compliance across jurisdictions.

You will partner with Finance, Legal, IT, RevOps, and Talent to drive operational excellence in a high-growth environment. You will build and lead a team, implement scalable processes, and leverage automation and AI to support rapid expansion

Qualifications

• 10+ years of People Operations experience, including leading the function at a 500+ person technology company during rapid growth.
• Deep expertise in U.S. employment compliance, multi-state operations, leave administration, immigration, and risk management.
• Experience evaluating and executing a migration off a PEO.
• Experience supporting international hiring and expansion, including EOR oversight.
• Strong ownership of HRIS strategy, systems architecture, integrations, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the People Operations team, setting a high bar for operational excellence, accountability, and service.
• Drive operational efficiencies across People systems and workflows, leveraging automation and AI to support rapid growth and scaling.
• Own HRIS strategy and systems architecture, including integrations, data governance, reporting infrastructure, and access controls.
