Job summary

Present of AI is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to run daily operations for a small, fully remote team, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, records, and leave handling.

The ideal candidate has ~4 years generalist experience, is organized and discreet, and knows when to escalate to the senior people leader. You will build simple policies and templates from scratch while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality, and you’ll collaborate with a PEO partner.

Qualifications

• 4 years generalist experience or equivalent
• Experience with multi-state compliance and benefits administration
• Ability to draft simple policies and templates from scratch

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
• Administer benefits and employee records
• Handle leave management and compliance reporting
• Maintain multi-state compliance with a partner PEO
• Escalate sensitive issues to senior people leader when required
