Job summary

Peninsula Federal Credit Union is seeking an HR Generalist to support daily HR operations, benefits coordination, and payroll-related inquiries. You will partner with leaders to administer performance cycles, job evaluations, and compensation planning while maintaining confidential records and ensuring policy compliance.

The role emphasizes employee service, training collaboration, and accurate HR data management to foster a positive employee experience across branches and departments.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related HR experience.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources or SHRM/CUHRCP certification required.
• Strong confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion in communications.
• Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, confidential employee support on HR policies, benefits, and payroll questions.
• Administer employee benefits, coordinate open enrollment and life-event changes, and maintain benefits records.
• Coordinate performance review cycles and merit increases; support compensation planning and budgeting.
• Maintain confidential personnel and compensation records; assist with HR reporting and time/attendance tracking.
• Ensure compliance and assist with audit preparation; communicate policy updates across teams.
