Job summary

Community First Credit Union is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to provide professional-level HR support. You will partner with leaders and managers to handle recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and day-to-day HR inquiries, ensuring compliance and a positive employee and member experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience in a multi-site environment.
• PHR, SHRM-CP or other relevant certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong service orientation with focus on employee and member experience.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems and reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to support HR questions, issues, and projects.
• Develop recruitment strategies and processes to achieve staffing objectives.
• Source candidates and assist in interviews and assessments.
• Serve as expert on recruiting trends and sourcing strategies.
• Maintain job descriptions, salary grades, FLSA designation, and EEO categories.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation sessions for new staff.
• Provide training on interview skills for new managers.
• Design and support performance processes and annual/self assessments.
• Design and deliver employee listening program solutions and dashboards.
• Support cross-functional projects and organizational change initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and audits.
