Job summary

Arc is seeking a Staff People and Learning Partner to own the people strategy for Sales, Service, and G&A, developing manager programs and clear IC career pathways. You’ll design, deliver, and measure impact of training, while partnering with leaders to design org structures and drive people analytics.

You’ll spend ~40% on learning & development for managers, building scalable playbooks and templates so Engineering and Production can adopt the framework.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive People experience, supporting go-to-market, service, or corporate functions, including director-level and above leaders.
• Built and delivered a manager training or leadership development program from scratch.
• Designed and rolled out career frameworks, competency models, or leveling guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of CA employment law, wage & hour regulations, compensation practices, and benefits strategies.
• Proven ability to conduct and document employee relations investigations independently.
• Experience in people analytics to inform decision-making.
• Ability to influence without authority at all levels and work on-site in LA.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across Sales, Service & G&A on organizational design, headcount planning, reporting structures, and spans of control.
• Coach managers through performance cycles including goal setting, calibration, feedback, and promotions.
• Conduct employee relations investigations end-to-end and counsel leadership.
• Lead terminations and communication of changes with dignity.
• Advise on CA employment law, wage/hour compliance, and compensation practices.
• Translate attrition, engagement, and promotion data into actionable insights.
• Lead policy and program rollouts with change management and stability.
• Provide mentorship to junior People team members.
