Job summary

Arc is seeking a Staff People and Learning Partner to own the people strategy for Sales, Service, and G&A, building manager development systems and clear career paths for individual contributors. You will own the curriculum, teach it, and measure impact, partnering with leaders across functions to scale while maintaining focus on California employment law and compensation practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in People/HRBP supporting GTM, service, or corporate teams
• Proven track record building manager training programs
• Experience designing career frameworks and leveling guidelines
• Strong knowledge of CA employment law and compensation practices
• Ability to conduct employee relations investigations independently

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on org design, headcount planning, reporting structures, and spans of control as teams scale
• Coach managers through the full performance cycle: goal setting, calibration, feedback, promotion cases, and performance improvement
• Conduct employee relations investigations end-to-end, counseling employees and leadership
• Translate people data (attrition, engagement, promotion velocity) into actionable insights for leaders
• Lead the design and delivery of Arc's manager development curriculum
• Mentor junior members of the People team and contribute to their growth
