Job summary

Arc, headquartered in Los Angeles, seeks a Staff People and Learning Partner to own the people strategy for our Sales, Service, and G&A organizations while building manager development and career-growth systems the company relies on. You will design, facilitate, and measure the impact of the program that defines how Arc manages its people.

Roughly 40% of your time will focus on learning and development for managers and individual contributors, reporting to the Senior Staff People Partner and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive People experience with directors and above leaders.
• Proven experience building a manager training program from scratch.
• Experience designing career frameworks or leveling guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of CA employment law, wage-hour rules, and compensation practices.
• Proven ability to conduct and document employee relations investigations.
• Experience with people analytics to inform decision-making.
• Ability to influence across levels and work on-site in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Service & G&A on org design, headcount planning, and reporting structures.
• Coach managers through performance cycles including calibration and promotions.
• Conduct end-to-end employee relations investigations and counseling.
• Lead terminations and role changes with clear communication.
• Advise on CA employment law and compensation practices across population.
• Translate people data into actionable insights for leaders.
• Design and run learning curricula and career pathways, measuring impact.
• Scale programs and mentor junior People team members.
