Job summary

CBRE in Baton Rouge is seeking a People Business Partner to support the rollout and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures at our training facility. This role sits within the People Strategy and Operations function, focusing on design, execution, and monitoring of HR programs.

You will coordinate onboarding, performance management initiatives, employee relations guidance, and training, while collaborating with managers to identify risks and deliver innovative HR solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills including percentages and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance and assist with disciplinary action and performance improvement counseling.
• Identify employment-related risks with managers and support investigations and grievances.
• Manage HR functions (employment, labor relations, compensation) for a business unit.
• Conduct training on topics including performance management and diversity.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with participants and trainers to monitor program sentiment and success stories.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for guests and leadership, coordinating tours and schedules.
