Job summary

CBRE is seeking a People Business Partner to support rollout and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures across the organization. You will partner with managers to drive onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and employee relations initiatives.

Travel up to 40% monthly to CBRE sites, with opportunities to work in warehouse-fulfillment centers and support a broad set of HR functions including labor relations and compensation for a business unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment from multiple information sources.
• Willingness to take a fresh perspective on solutions.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with PeopleSoft & SmartSheet.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary support.
• Work with managers to identify employment risks and assist investigations.
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, and compensation for a unit.
• Conduct training on performance management and diversity.
• Apply knowledge of standard HR principles to design solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge within the function.
• Lead by example and build consensus across teams.
