Job summary

CBRE seeks a People Business Partner to help roll out and communicate HR initiatives, policies and procedures and to act as a Communications Coordinator for stakeholders in a training facility.

This role sits within the People Strategy and Operations function, responsible for designing, executing, and monitoring HR programs and policies including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and employee relations across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education considered.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills to calculate percentages and other financial figures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action support.
• Collaborate with managers to identify risks and initiate investigations and grievances.
• Manage HR functions including employment, labor relations, and compensation for a business unit.
• Conduct training on performance management, diversity, and related topics.
• Apply expertise to complex assignments and deliver innovative HR solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across HR disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values.
• Impact a range of activities within own team and related teams.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information clearly.
• Build relationships with participants and trainers to monitor program sentiment and prepare speaking engagements.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for guests and leadership, coordinate tours and schedules.
