Job summary

Stepan Company seeks a People Experience Specialist to deliver first-level HR support, manage inquiries, and execute standardized HR transactions. You will maintain accurate employee data in HRIS systems and ensure services align with policies and regulatory requirements.

The role involves handling onboarding/offboarding, data requests, and audit-ready documentation while collaborating with HR teams to improve service delivery. A 0-2 year background in HR or shared services is suitable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 0-2+ years of experience in Human Resources, shared services, customer service, administrative support, or similar service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries via portal, email, or phone.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, programs, and procedures using approved docs and knowledge articles.
• Execute standardized HR transactions in HR systems (new hires, changes, terminations, onboarding, offboarding).
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar.
• Log, track, and close HR cases; document for audit and reporting purposes.
• Escalate complex or sensitive matters to appropriate HR team members.
• Follow HR policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliant service delivery.
• Support compliance with local labor laws and data privacy expectations.
