Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a highly analytical People Data Analyst to partner with People, Finance, and business leaders. You will build dashboards and data models, improve employee experience, and drive organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.

You will translate data into actionable insights, influence hiring and retention decisions, and establish robust data governance across HR systems.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in data analytics, BI, or people analytics.
• Strong SQL and handling large datasets.
• Experience with Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Excel/Google Sheets for modeling and analysis.
• Ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models for key people metrics (headcount, attrition, engagement, performance, DEI).
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across HR systems.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and reporting frameworks.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with leadership to inform decisions on hiring, retention, and org design.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of people programs (performance reviews, engagement initiatives, learning & development).
• Collaborate with HRIS and engineering teams to improve data architecture and accessibility.
• Automate manual reporting processes.
• Establish best practices for data governance and documentation.
