Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a highly analytical People Data Analyst to partner with People, Finance, and business leaders. You will build dashboards and data models, improve employee experience, and drive organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.

You will translate data into actionable insights, influence hiring and retention decisions, and establish robust data governance across HR systems.

Qualifications

3–6 years in data analytics, BI, or people analytics.
Strong SQL and handling large datasets.
Experience with Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
Excel/Google Sheets for modeling and analysis.
Ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models for key people metrics (headcount, attrition, engagement, performance, DEI).
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across HR systems.
Develop scalable data pipelines and reporting frameworks.
Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Partner with leadership to inform decisions on hiring, retention, and org design.
Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
Evaluate the effectiveness of people programs (performance reviews, engagement initiatives, learning & development).
Collaborate with HRIS and engineering teams to improve data architecture and accessibility.
Automate manual reporting processes.
Establish best practices for data governance and documentation.
