Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a People Analytics & Automation Analyst to drive efficiency in HR through data-driven insights and automation. The role focuses on reducing manual tasks, building scalable reporting, and delivering clear recommendations to improve HR decisions.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on AI tooling experience and strong business acumen to surface meaningful workforce trends. Based at our Fort Lauderdale HQ, this onsite role requires proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and HR data

Qualifications

Experience using AI tools to automate data workflows.
Strong analytical and critical thinking with ability to translate data to business outcomes.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization).
Experience building/managing dashboards in Power BI; familiarity with Power Query.

Responsibilities

Automate recurring reports and workflows using AI-assisted tools to reduce manual effort.
Perform data audits to ensure accuracy and standardize reporting across HR systems.
Analyze workforce data to surface trends and opportunities for HR leadership.
Develop and maintain reporting tools to track key HR KPIs and deliver concise summaries.
