Opendoor is seeking a hands-on People Analytics & Automation Specialist to bridge data and strategic action across compensation, sequencing projects with two priority tracks: People Operations and Total Rewards. Qualifications

• Designed and shipped an AI agent or automated workflow used by others.
• Strong analytical judgment to define decisions from ambiguous problems.
• Experience handling confidential compensation and people data with high discretion.
• Excellent data storytelling and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ambiguous People and Talent questions and define the decision, metrics, and data needs.
• Design, build, and ship AI-first solutions for compensation and People Operations.
• Build and maintain data products, dashboards, and self-service tools for headcount, leveling, compensation, open requisitions, and recruiting funnel performance.
• Own execution of compensation and leveling projects, including benchmarking and market studies.
• Support TA analytics and surface insights to the Talent Acquisition team.
• Collaborate with HRIS administrator to automate data workflows on Rippling and ensure data quality.
• Translate raw data into clear decision-ready narratives for leadership.
• Proactively build automations and dashboards for major HR cycles.
