The position is full-time at the Kent Campus, offering benefits and opportunities for professional growth, with a shift that is variable and a salary of $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Credential: Certified Peer Recovery Specialist; Basic Life Support.
• Experience: 12 months working or volunteering in a peer recovery specialist role with 3 months of narrative report writing.

Responsibilities

• Work with Care Management, Behavioral Medicine, and ED teams to support substance-abusing populations.
• Provide peer support to engage individuals in a recovery partnership and identify recovery goals.
• Assist in developing a personalized crisis plan and recovery action plan.
• Maintain a caseload and prepare narrative reports as required.
• Promote self-advocacy by helping clients voice needs and goals.
• Help clients build connections with family, friends, and community resources.
• Advocate for services or resources to achieve clients' goals.
• Conduct routine follow-up to maintain contact with clients.
• Assist in SDOH and substance abuse screening and risk assessment.
• Perform other duties within scope as assigned.
