Job summary

Recovery Innovations is seeking a Part-time, Non-Exempt Peer Support Specialist I for the Out-Patient Community in Wilmington. The role offers evening shifts (8:00pm-8:30am) on a rotating schedule including every other weekend, with compensation of $18.00/hour without DE peer certification or $21.00/hour with DE peer certification.

The ideal candidate has peer employment training certification, lives with relevant experiences, and can support recovery and advocacy for participants while adhering

Qualifications

• Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use services is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to teach recovery information and tools.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Must be able to pass de-escalation training as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to engage individuals in recovery partnerships.
• Teach recovery and life skills using recovery tools.
• Model hope and self-advocacy to support recovery goals.
• Assist in developing natural supports and community living.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to arrange services.
