MedStar Health is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to join our Care Transformation Organization (CTO). You will use your lived recovery experience to coordinate follow-up care, connect patients to community resources, and provide motivation to seek treatment.

Work sites include the office, patient homes, and community settings. Ideal candidates have strong listening and communication skills, basic computer skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning and skill development.

• Must have strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Basic computer skills required.

• Provide peer support and linkages to community resources.
• Complete referrals to treatment services and help develop care plans.
• Maintain documentation and reports.
• Provide in-office, home, and community-based services.
• Coordinate with CTO and care management teams.
