Job summary

UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics in Cranberry Township is seeking a Limited Part-Time Patient Services Representative to support the offices in Cranberry. Weekend and evening hours are required to align with clinic hours: 4:30p-9p Mon-Fri, 11:30a-8p Sat, 9:30a-6p Sun.

Registration and EPIC experience preferred; duties include greeting patients, handling check-in, collecting copays, scheduling follow-ups, assisting patients with navigation, and promoting MyUPMC portal.

Qualifications

Experience with patient check-in and copay collection is preferred.
Registration and EPIC experience is preferred.
Ability to guide patients through the healthcare system and provide clear instructions.

Responsibilities

Greet patients, assist check-in, collect copays, update information.
Arrange follow-up appointments and connect patients to services.
Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system and provide clear instructions.
Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal.
Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources.
Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations.
Answer calls, scan records, and perform office duties.
