Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or obtained within three months of hire.
• Must read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Demonstrates Trinity Health mission and values in behavior.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and welcome visitors; manage front desk and patient flow.
• Check-in patients and ensure admitting process complies with policies.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments per office guidelines.
• Obtain patient and insurance information and collect copays/deductibles.
• Copy/scan patient access related materials into the EHR.
