Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a customer-focused Medical Receptionist for a full-time Day Shift. You will be the first contact for patients, handling check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and MyChart support.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a medical/office setting and excellent communication skills to ensure a positive patient experience and efficient office operations. This is a front-desk, patient-centered role within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years in medical/office or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to verify insurance information and assist with front-desk tasks.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
• Check in patients and verify registration/insurance.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Answer phones and route messages.
• Collect payments and support billing processes.
• Assist with MyChart and patient communications.
• Maintain patient records and support office operations.
