Trinity Health clinic seeks a Clinic Receptionist to greet patients and visitors, schedule appointments, handle calls, verify insurance eligibility, and enter demographics and insurance data into the electronic health record. The role includes collecting time-of-service payments at the point of service.

Day shift, full-time with 36 hours per week, requiring a high school diploma, BLS certification within 3 months, and strong English communication with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients, visitors and colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors and manage front desk duties.
• Check-in patients and complete steps for efficient admitting in line with policies.
• Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate staff.
• Schedule appointments per office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information and collect copays and deductibles.
• Scan and file patient access documents into the electronic medical record.
