Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments for surgery and coordinates OR block time to maximize efficiency.
• Interviews patients to collect demographic and financial data; enters data for registration and billing.
• Obtains insurance authorizations and liaises with departments to secure coverage.
• Manages department and provider surgical case calendars and routes calls appropriately.
