Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking an access team member to welcome patient families to Children's Medical Group for appointment scheduling, following scheduling modules, and acting as a liaison between families and the clinic.

Reporting to the CMG Contact Center Supervisor, you will collaborate with the Regional Access Specialist and clinic leadership to achieve optimal scheduling outcomes, maintain HIPAA compliance, and ensure accurate patient registration and communications.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED or HSED.
• Less than 1 year related healthcare experience.
• Preferred experience in a call center or contact center.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with appointment scheduling using EPIC.
• Manage waitlists, reschedules, and registrations.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate registration data.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to optimize access and outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional patient experience per Patient Experience Promise.
