Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients at the Mountain Family Health clinic in Park City, UT. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, collect information, and help with billing and insurance processes.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in person, over the phone, or via secure messaging.
• Schedule and register patient visits, tests, and referrals.
• Verify and update demographic data and insurance information in the EMR.
• Gather insurance cards, IDs, and signatures; verify COB and prior authorizations as needed.
• Assist patients with forms and financial discussions, including payments and billing.
• Document calls accurately in the EMR and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with caregivers to ensure smooth patient flow and service quality.
