Intermountain Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Service Representative for its Mountain Family Health locations in Park City, UT. The role handles patient check-in/out, phone and in-person interactions, and EMR data entry to ensure a smooth patient journey.

The candidate should be organized, compassionate, and capable of handling billing-related tasks, insurance coordination, and customer service with a focus on privacy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and caregivers to deliver satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients, members and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous connections with patients over the phone, in person or via secure messaging.
• Document calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule patient appointments for visits, tests, and referrals.
• Register patients by entering and updating demographic data.
• Obtain copies of insurance cards and forms of ID; verify insurance information as needed.
• Assist patients with forms for regulatory and billing needs and educate on financial assistance.
