Thom Child & Family Services in Norwood, MA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention team. The OT will deliver home and community-based services to infants and toddlers birth to three, partnering with families to tailor IFSP goals and interventions.

The role emphasizes family-centered practice, collaborative assessments, and evidence-based interventions within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for professional growth and strong benefits.

Competenze

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in MA.
• Experience with infants, toddlers and families preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Mansioni

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the client’s developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family centered services and activities developmentally appropriate for birth to three years and their families using parent coaching model.
• Provide service coordination by scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the intervention plan for each family.
• Partner with families in the development of IFSPs to identify goals and strategies.
• Facilitate parent‑child interactions to encourage development and advocate for the child.
• Complete progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence using Thom’s electronic system.
• Provide individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers who have delays.
