Job summary

Thom Child and Family Services in Westfield, MA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention team, delivering home- and community-based services to infants and toddlers. Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the MA Board.
• Experience with infants, toddlers and families is preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Abide by confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the client’s developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family centered services using parent coaching for birth to three.
• Develop and monitor IFSP goals with families and schedule interventions.
• Document progress notes and communications using Thom system.
