Job summary

Thom Child & Family Services located in West Newbury, MA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention team serving infants and toddlers birth to three and their families in home and community settings.

You will conduct multidisciplinary assessments, develop IFSP goals with families, provide family-centered intervention, and document progress using Thom's electronic documentation system.

Qualifications

• Current MA licensure as Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with infants, toddlers and families preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the client’s developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family-centered services for birth to three and their families using parent coaching.
• Provide service coordination: scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the intervention plan.
• Partner with families in developing IFSP goals and strategies.
• Facilitate parent-child interactions to support development.
