Job summary

Thom Child & Family Services in Norwood, MA seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist for Early Intervention. This role provides home and community-based OT services to infants and toddlers birth to three and their families, with parent coaching and individualized IFSP plans.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess developmental status, coordinate services, and document progress in Thom’s electronic system.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in MA.
• Experience with infants, toddlers and families preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Confidentiality and professional boundaries are expected.
• Good computer skills and documentation.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual/Bicultural is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family centered services for birth to three, using parent coaching.
• Develop and monitor IFSPs with families to identify goals and strategies.
• Support parent-child interactions and advocate for the child.
• Complete progress notes and documentation in Thom’s system.
• Deliver individual and group interventions for infants and toddlers.
