Job summary

Affirmed Home Care in New Britain, CT is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric care for an 11-year-old boy with cerebral palsy and complex medical needs, including tracheostomy and G-tube care.

This weekend-only position offers two shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with weekly direct deposit, sign-on bonus, and ongoing clinical support from our dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut LPN license and current BLS certification.
• Minimum one year pediatric nursing experience in home, hospital, or acute care.
• Experience with tracheostomy and G-tube care is required.
• Experience with Hoyer lift transfers is required.
• Pediatric seizure management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for the pediatric client.
• Manage tracheostomy and G-tube care as part of daily care.
• Assist with Hoyer lift transfers and seizure management as needed.
• Collaborate with family and clinical team to ensure safety and comfort.
• Document care accurately and communicate progress to supervisors.

Join Affirmed Home Care's Growing Pediatric Division

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for an 11-year-old male pediatric client in New Britain, CT.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pediatric LPN who is comfortable caring for medically complex children and has experience with tracheostomy care, G-tube care, Hoyer lift transfers, and seizure management.

Current Weekend Opening

Client: 11-year-old male

Location: New Britain, CT

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday

Available Shifts:

• 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Care Needs:

Qualifications
