Job summary

Affirmed Home Care in West New York, NJ is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a pediatric private duty case. This 1:1 home care role offers weekend shifts with flexible scheduling and a competitive pay rate of $40 per hour for weekend pediatric nursing.

You will provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client’s home, monitor health and safety, document care, and communicate with the family and clinical team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• LPN license and BLS certification required.
• Ability to provide one-on-one home care.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

We are currently seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a pediatric private duty case in West New York, NJ. This is a great opportunity for nurses who enjoy building lasting relationships with families while receiving the support of an experienced pediatric clinical team.

Weekend Schedule

Choose the schedule that works best for you:

• One 16-hour shift: Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM OR
• Two 8-hour shifts: Saturday and Sunday

Pay

• $40.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client's home
• Monitor the client's health, safety, and overall well-being
• Administer care according to the physician's plan of care
• Accurately document all nursing services provided
• Communicate with the family and clinical team to ensure exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey LPN license
• At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred (home care or acute care)
• Current BLS certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical completed within the past 12 months
• Current PPD or QuantiFERON (within 12 months), or chest X-ray within 5 years
• Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
• Proof of influenza vaccination or approved medical exemption
