Job summary

Affirmed Home Care in Connecticut is expanding its Pediatric Division and seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide skilled, one-on-one pediatric nursing care at the child’s home in Fairfield County.

This per diem role offers day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts, with a starting rate of $40 per hour, weekly pay, and ongoing training plus dedicated clinical and administrative support.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut LPN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of pediatric nursing experience
• Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube care preferred
• Home care, hospital, or acute-care pediatric experience preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical examination within past 12 months and TB screening within past year or chest X-ray when applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one pediatric nursing care in the patient's home
• Manage tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube care
• Coordinate with the pediatric division and clinical team
• Support flexible per diem scheduling with varied shifts
• Ensure a safe, comfortable home environment for the patient

Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division and seeking compassionate, experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care to a 1-year-old pediatric girl with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube in the comfort of her home in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an LPN who is confident providing pediatric complex-care support and wants to make a meaningful difference in the life of a child and her family.
