Job summary

Advocate Health’s Cabarrus Pediatrics - General department is seeking a full-time front desk registrar to join a fast-paced clinic in Concord, NC. The role offers a 40-hour work week with a schedule of Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus one late evening and one Saturday per month to support patient access.

You will handle patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and payment processing while delivering compassionate customer service to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer relations experience required.
• Experience with Medical Records Software preferred.
• Front desk practice experience preferred.

• Manages patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection and cash receipting, and arrival/departure desk activities.
• Encourages patient utilization of front-end technology during the registration process.
• Maintains confidential and accurate patient information including insurance and billing details; assists billing as needed.
• Demonstrates proficiency in emergency codes and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Monitors inventory and stock medications and emergency equipment.
