PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Front Desk Associate to welcome families and manage registration with a focus on accuracy, empathy, and patient flow. You will handle patient questions, verify demographics and insurance information, and ensure HIPAA compliance while supporting the medical team and aligning with the clinic’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Front Desk Associate with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in healthcare or medical office is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greets families professionally in person and on the phone.
• Answers questions and seeks clarification when needed.
• Demonstrates empathy and active listening.
• Supports patient care quality initiatives as directed.
• Coordinates escalations to ensure timely resolutions.
• Collaborates with site leadership to manage complex patient issues.
• Upholds PM Pediatric Care core values and navigates systems for patients and families.
• Manages patient flow in waiting and registration, assisting with self-registration.
• Keeps workflows and responsibilities current with education provided.
• Registers patients and maintains accurate demographics and insurance data per HIPAA.
• Handles incoming documents and maintains proper storage.
• Performs opening/closing duties and other duties as assigned.
