Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative to join Mountain Family Health in Park City, Utah. The role centers on greeting and checking-in/out patients, verifying information, and delivering high-quality customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional connections with patients over the phone, in person, or via secure messaging.
• Document all phone calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients by confirming and updating demographic data in the registration system.
• Obtain copies of insurance cards and IDs and verify information for insurance coordination of benefits.
• Assist patients with forms for regulatory and billing needs; educate about financial assistance; process payments.
• Stay current on role responsibilities and clinic updates to ensure high performance.
