Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Pediatric Float Pool (NICU/PICU/Peds) on the night shift in New Jersey. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, strong clinical judgment, and teamwork in a high-volume pediatric setting.

Applicants should hold an active NJ RN license with BLS, and a BSN is preferred. EPIC EMR experience is desirable; position requires 7p-7:30a with alternating weekends and holidays, averaging 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BSN preferred; prior pediatric care or ER experience encouraged.
• Competent with EPIC EMR and hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for care decisions.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Document accurately in the EMR to support continuity of care.
