Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Float Pool (NICU/PICU/Peds) to join RWJBarnabas Health. This RN role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence in a hospital setting.

The night shift runs 7p-7:30a with every other weekend and rotating holidays. Active NJ RN license and BLS required; BSN preferred; EPIC EMR experience is a plus; 36 hours per week with ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC) encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care with sound judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families to support informed decision making.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record to ensure safety.
• Participate in rounds and contribute to safe transitions of care.
• Engage in a collaborative team environment and pursue growth.
